Is there a way to control the Red One camera by a computer (such as start and stop recording commands)?
I have found a discussion on using GPIO for record start/stop but I would prefer to use the USB slave port to control the camera by a computer. As described on page 13 of the RED ONE OPERATION GUIDE (build_30_ops_guide_v30.6.12.pdf), there is a USB slave port "(H) to connect the camera to another camera or computer based controller."
When I connect my computer via USB to this port on the Red One, my system does not recognize the device (although it does name it RED ONE) and states the driver has not been installed.
Do you know where I can get the driver?
