Before it happens to both our posts, just wanted to say...
Also want to say congratulations to Tom and great images.

I do have to say that Red is probably very excited Tom has this camera also because as has been stated before time lapse functions/long exposures are not yet enabled so who could be a better candidate to send beta software to for analysis as those features progress.

Congratulations Tom! I'm very anxious to get your impressions of the camera in the landscape work you do so well. Especially to see you develop a sense of how to get the most out of the increased dynamic range -- where and how HDrx is best used in the natural world, and more. Your feedback here will be such a great compliment to the Mark, Steve, Ketch and the others. Here's to doing great things!

I'm interested on your feedback also on the Duclos lens - are you using the new 80-200mm Nikon that Duclos are working on or is this an older model Duclos lens?

    Best wishes

    Scott
Seriously, I was impressed that the Duclos 80-200 PL lens was so sharp. I've been using it to shoot mainly 3K fps on MX, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how sharp it was at 5.1K. I bought this Duclos 80-200 from Matt about one year ago. It's not a rehousing. He just declicked the iris, added a PL mount and gear rings.

In looking at the camera, I see the top handle right over the exhaust vent. How hot is that exhaust, venting from the camera?

I'd imagine that it can't be all that bad, but figured I's ask anyhow.
