  1. #1 Red + Marshall monitor Hdmi magenta tint problem
We are shooting with a Red (latest firmware), and use a Marshal Monitor connected over hdmi (no red lcd or evf). Whenever I switch in the PREVIEW menu to DVI, (to see the on screen data like the histogram), everything gets a magenta tint (really strong tint over the whole picture). The moment I switch back to 720p, it looks fine. It's really annoying... Any ideas what might be the problem?

That's actually an HDMI Marshal monitor problem, not a camera problem. When that happens try turning the monitor off/on, it should fix the problem. I wish I could give you a more technical reason why that happens other than HDMI is dumb. That will happen occasionally when you use DSLR's with some Marshal monitors.

RGB/YUV confusion, in short. Not sure which end is at fault.

Already tried everything, but it's not working. I was also able to change it (rgb\yuv) in the marshall's menu but it did not help :(
