    Hello,

we are trying out the trial version of STORM. We think this program is
    really what we need.
However, there is a major problem with external sound clips in STORM.
Before bying we want to know if this is a bug, or if we are doing
    something
    wrong.

We have a project with RED clips with no sound and externeal sound
recorded on a sound devices 788t in timecode sync with camera. When we
playback the file it seems like STORM is slowing down the audio clips.
Female voice sounds like male etc.
The files are broadcast polywave with 4 channels of audio recorded at
    48khz 24bit with timecode.

The same problem also occurs when we are trying to playback audio files in
44khz 16 bit in STORM. Also, the reference sound from the camera is also played slow and out of sync with picture.

It seems like STORM cant read Frame Rate from the metadata in the sound
recording done on my sound devices. The framerate is 25ND, and this is written in to the metadata of the file.

    Is this a bug?

Edit: Storm reads the files correctly regarding bitrate and bitdepth.

    -All the best

Same issue here with improper playback of audio. Only with RR engaged.

Hi, it is indeed a bug. We have had several people report this, but we have been unable to reproduce this in-house! Until we can repro it we unfortunately can't fix it. If we could get a copy of your files so that we can that would great!

    many thanks,
    Dan
