For whatever reason, the MAXX digital express card with my Mobile Rocket doesn't seem to be recognized by my MacBook. Worked fine a couple days ago. It has no trouble recognizing my ESATA card, but the MAXX card has quit coming up. Maybe this is a problem bigger than the card, but since the ESATA card pops right up with nothing connected, I imagine that the MAXX should be recognized, without any other hardware present. Anyone else have this problem? I assume that ordering a new MAXX card is the obvious thing to try, but I kinda need the Rocket to work a lot sooner than that (like now).

I've tried restarting, logging in as different users, etc, but no luck.

Any experience or advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

I had similar issues which were resolved by a new cable from Maxx Digital. I managed to figure this out by swapping out the various components from another RR and Maxx Digital Mobile Rocket. Hope this helps.

    If you have a:
    MacBookPro5,1 (15-inch 2.4GHz, 2.53GHz, 2.66GHz, 2.8GHz, 2.93GHz) (October, 2008/ March, 2009)
    MacBookPro5,2 (17-inch 2.66GHz, 2.93GHz) (January, 2009)
    MacBookPro5,2 (17-inch 2.8GHz, 3.06GHz) (June, 2009)
Then the problem is your computer, not the ExpressCard.

Source link for this problem Stephen? Thanks.

I think OP is not this though as it worked fine at first?
