http://glorycubed.com/red/red97.mov - 11MB H.264 640X360 [edited, switched to a lower rez to save bandwidth, if for some reason you want to see a higher rez, let me know -- here's a link to the R3D file of the last shot: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HPEME47D]

Just a couple shots lined up to play around with (edited straight off the proxies in FCP). Met up with Pywl also from Nashville area last night and it was the first time we had some lenses to play with (each of the shots shown was via a Zeiss 18mm using available light).

It was a bit of fun and some quick experience, and now we've got some shots to play with (managing the shallow DOF in somewhat low-light is going to be interesting in action).

Anyway, we were up to 2am playing around last night, this camera is a blast! Going to setup in CA in a couple weeks to shoot some Air Force helicopters that should be fun.

We had a break in the rain for a moment and rushed outside to try and get some shots. Had a couple minutes to throw this together: http://www.glorycubed.com/red/red97b.mov 1/120sec shutter, no ND's (slight CC to match contrast, left the blue hue).

Heh, thanks. Have to switch out the link to a low rez (640x360) for bandwidth issues, but I threw in some music this time ;).

Correct, we did not setup any lights, just filmed under ambient light. We wanted to get some outdoor shots while we still had the lenses, but it was thunderstorms all day .

Who knew caulking was so dangerous... ;-)

Thanks for the footage Mr. Glory. I also enjoyed your demo reel. I too will be shooting for the USAF (I am a USAF veteran) when I get my RED, I will keep you in mind.

    Cheers,

    Andrew
