You know, I wondered about that as I was writing that post. Thanks for catching me.

Thanks Rob! But I still think there should be a button. A good example would be Avid, I've seen some long time Avid guys do EVERYTHING using the keyboard, but you don't have to, and quite frankly, not all of those key strokes are even documented in Avids own manuals!

I know its a beta build, just trying to give you guys some real world feedback from a real world user :)

Obviously this program is still in a Beta version, but I'd really like to see how long the conversion times are. I know it depends on what computer components you have. I'm hoping that somewhere in the realm of real-time will be available soon.

Program ran but then locked up and erred out when a background program running in the taskbar alerted a tooltip.

I don't understand why I'm the only one who can't download that small r3d clip.

Somebody will have to teach web servers about the new video format, and serve it as video/x-redcine (or application/octet-stream).

Selected 106 frames from 4k .r3d file with some color correction. Exported to Apple Quicktime Prores High Quality to 1920 x 1080 and took over an hour. I was on a Quad core Mac with 2 gigs of RAM. It has two graphics cards in there so I'm not sure which one it was going to. I can't remember where I put which graphics card. Anyway, should be interesting to see render times on other machines...and how to optimize your system.
