This might be a dumb questions but...

Upon bringing my RED file into Red Cine X, it shows me the rec 709 of the file which seems much more contrasty and saturated than the raw file. Bringing the file into After Effects also shows me the more contrast and saturated version (not the Raw file without the metadata).
Is there anyway to just edit straight from the raw? Does that even make sense?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
