How can we monitor on a single link 3g monitor that has only one SDI input setup for 3g ? I know i can buy an AJA 3GM, but until i can get one (about a month to get to mexico) how can i monitor via single SDI from Rocket Card?

I've tried connecting Output A (from rocket card) to my monitor and selecting 4:2:2 YCbCr as input signal to the monitor (this selection on Monitor setup side) but no go.

I'm using an FSI (flanders scientific) Monitor. The model: LM-2461W
My only choices for SDI format are: Auto; 422 YCbCR; 444 YCbCr; 444 RGB

I don't seem to get a proper image by connecting output A (from rocket) to my SDI A on monitor. Image is there, but a shade of blue.

Is there a way to SELECT YUV or YCbCR 422 output from some control panel for the rocket card?

    Thanks....

The color setting is correct for single link, just try switching it to the "B" SDI output. My A was doing a dual link too, and the B made it work properly

Got it working fine now...and out of A....i just forgot the settings were on the ROCKET EMBLUM. and have to right click to change them. I got complacent and had my dual working full time, then seemed the place to change any settings would have been in preferences...but found them behind the rocket emblum.

What settings worked for you? Were testing a BT RR on a MacPro and cant get a clean signal into a SmallHD DP6.

I had to go from the Rocket card with a single SDI into the Flanders Monitor, then within RR go to the Rocket emblem click it and then choose 422 YUV 8bit or 10bit....works now Perfectly.....

Yeah, I actually have to change that every time I restart RCX, annoying. By the way, are you getting sound from the Rocket through your Flanders? I'm not and can't figure it out. The sound that comes through the system itself is out of sync with the Flanders image.

ACTUALLY....99% of what i shoot is MOS.....i did however notice sound drop out on the flanders...but i think that has something to do more with RR card or Mac OS and not Flanders....at least my thought.

Yep....wish Redcine would save last settings on rocket card. have to re-set it all again as well.

I know its been over a year but now we're having issues with our RRC (in a CUBIX) to BOB to Flanders LM-2461W.
We had a studio move so now we're just setting things up.
Before the move, I had this set-up working.
The image Im getting is a ghost green using RGB8 since all the others produce a solid green without the ghosting.
We have tried numerous options such as straight from RRC Card SDI to the Flanders and of course the original BOB connection.
The DVI/HMDI option works fine but we need the Flanders.
Now we also tested from another Mac Pro with a RRC but only thru the BOB. There was no room on that Mac Pro for the SDI plate.
I will be posting this question as a separate post if I dont hear from anyone within 24 hours.
We really need this to work off the Flanders.
Current drivers 1.4.19.0 and firmware 1.1.16.5 on a 8X lane in the CUBIX and 8X lane in the Mac Pro.
We did not update since this set-up was working with installed RCXPro and RRC drivers.

    Happy Canada/Independence Day :)
