He he, those are very nice trucks indeed Axel, but they have one third the capacity, they are more specialized to work in mining fields were very bad weather reigns most of the year.

But they'll be some trucks and bulldozers, s well as specialized Cranes that wi'll make the kid in every one want to come out and play... ;)

363 t for the CAT 797F vs. 345 t for the ETF HT-380.
But you can daisy-chain 4 HT-380 for a total volume of 1379 t (all metric) with one person operating it.

If the front is the film school, the tree in the background is the TREE of LiFE then, right?

The interesting point will be how you can build a tree this way and have real leaves there :-)

Well, it was a figurative way of saying, but there are also much bigger Dump Trucks available, as a friend uses them in a mining area, at the end I have really no idea what we'll end up using as far as specific model, but they will be BIG... ;)

Remember that the Grand Tower of which you see a small portion of, is a multipurpose Tower, and the Tree at 300' high will be entirely Artificial, made of special materials, and will it self be something to travel the world around to see... ;)


As far as real leaves, the ones you see in this crop of the render are not real of course either, but there will be a quantity of special systems in use that will incorporate the Artificial part of this Tree with LIVE Plants.

Am I correct assuming that the tree will be like a museum installation, with a "walk through" experience?
Architectural the most interesting part in my opinion, from what you have leaked out so far...

Interesting is also the sculpting taking place. The large figure holding that tower - I presume we don't have to wait decades for someone sculpting it by hand like the Presidents of the US... I can forsee computerized manufacturing of such based from 3D data gained from a real handmade scuplture in a specific scale. Would be spectacular to see CNC mills running large scale. Honestly, visiting this while building times are on is way more interesting to me than lateron I suspect...

Correct on al aspects Axel,

the 300 Foot Tree House, will be a leaving Museum and play ground, one of a kind i the world, but much more then I can describe now will go in it, and this will be all announced in do time once all legal manners, Patents, and permits as well as all trade marks are properly registered.

As far as the tours in the Milling machine shops, carpentry etc, the plants will be design with Tours in mind, and will have special glass domes all around to allow for this, while the workers continue on undisturbed, unless the visitors happen to ware a miniskirt... ;)

As far as the sculptures holding the Two Heliports as an example, (they will be others of much larger scale) think Lord of The Ring size, the ones as guardians of the water gates, and those too, will have inner structural elevators, rooms and various facilities, nothing at KETCH ROSSi TREE of LiFE, serves only one purpose or just be there for looks, all has a service which they provide, and al have multiple services that they provide, non structure is built to only provide one service, or it would not really be the Eco city of the future would it? ... ;)
