I gotta ask about the name. Is "RAPE" used for shock value or marketing? I don't understand why you would cheat yourself with such an obvious and aggressive name for your film.

The name is because I believe strongly, that a Title should always contain something that has to do with the film, and in this case RAPE is an important factor of the story which will put to the test the strength of two individuals, and the capacity as Human beings to surpass such incredibly strong negative experience in one's life, and overcome it against all adds, it is a message of Perseverance, of Love, of NOt giving up on life and on those you Love... NO MATTER WATH!!

I can't agree with you more. It is an incredibly strong negative experience in life. I know this film is personal. It often takes years and most likely never is truly forgotten but love and life go on, we give each other strength, in friendship and romance. Pain can heal pain.

Far too commonly, I know people who have been there. It can happen in the prime of life, sometimes much younger. So when I read the title, the vulnerable and visceral impact the word conquers; I cringe. I know you are putting your heart and soul into this piece, the title feels cheep. It is a foul word, your story seems to be about so much more.

I do not suggest you do anything about the title because that's not my place. This is your vehicle and I'll support you either way.

I thank you for your input Will, and you are right on the money on all that you just wrote, and this is why the decision of the title, once the first Trailers start hitting the Net, then there will be a much more clear idea of were and how I'm going with this story.

The fact that there will be an unprecedented amount of coverage during the filming with a Super Blog on the site and a large amount of BTS photos and videos will show more what the story is about and how is taken to life.

Also the amount of support and names involved in this production will stand for the values in the Story as well.


There wil be no GRATUITOUS NUDITY, nor there will be any OUT of PLACE poorly FRAMED Scenes of the acts of RAPE and or any other scene which involves NUDITY, all will be done in the most extreme respect to the Story and the meaning and main purpose it contains.
