try 4 gig. Just a thought.

Well I've been beating my head against something trying to get some non-trashed output from RedCine on my home system.
Specs.
Dual core 6600
4 Gigs ram
ATI X1950 w/updated drivers
In an earlier version I could get some QT output without overlays but nothing but highly posterized and black frames now.
We have it on an 8 core mac at work and it's perfect.
edit: it is trashed on everything QT, DPX, TIFFs etc.
same issues her with trashed output.
Windows XP Pro, Service pack 2
Intel Quad core
4GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD3870 (tried different drivers)
I also get trashed output (black frames or "rainbowed color" frames) from a latptop running a quadro NVS140 also on XP
dell 1507 dual core laptop
vista and xp
ati graphics card
does not work at all ever on this graphics card.
tested on xp and vista, larger selection of Athlon Dual, Athlon X2, all generation Xeon from socket 603 to 775.
ati 9600 doesn´t work.
nvidia 6600 doesn´t work.
any Matrox doesn´t work.
chipset P-series intel doesn´t work.
chipset nvidia 610/630 doesn´t work.
unstable, but often working, most also with 2GB.
nvidia 7600, 7800, 8600, quadro 4500.

REDCine v1.0.3 (Build 82) XP working well.
HP dv6253cl laptop
with:
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-52
nVidia GeForce Go 6150
Seagate ST912082 SCSI HD
Vista Home Prem. 23-bit
REDCine v1.0.3 (Build 82)
6-second interface freezes (presumably caused by frame updates) with REDCine in "1/4 medium" resolution mode. Even longer delays at higher resolutions

PC tower
Windows XP Pro SP 2
Intel Core 2 6600@2.4 GHz
nVidia Quadro FX 3450 driver version 84.26
4 gigs DDR2 Ram
Stable and works well when multiple displays are set to horizontal span. Will not render out files when multiple displays are set to "dualview".
Apple Quad 2.66 2GB RAM
Redcine freeze frames around frame 90, everytime.
useless.
