yeah that would be nice, that's our biggest gripe here at our shop. When we have to use RC to digitize anything it's always a lot of footage so we try to spread it out over several systems to get to editing faster. After our first project it became painfully apparent that each station was customized to the user including their display settings and preferences for color, we had 5 different looks come back to me which meant we had to go back and redo EVERYTHING!

how hard would it be to get a throughput from kona? isn't RED supposed to be all buddy buddy with AJA?

Did anyone have any success running Redcine on a small (12"-14") notebook running Windows XP? If so, which model?

    Mac Pro 2.8Ghz early 08
    16GB RAM
    ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT:
Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2600
    EFI Driver Version: 01.00.252

Quicktime Prores export works with a single clip. As soon as you try to batch export all but first clip are freeze frames (and the freeze frame in each instance is from the first clip!)

    DPX export does work though.

When I try to Output two shots using QuickTime at various settings, the second shot starts a freeze about 5 seconds from the end of the sequence.

    ATI Radeon x1600

Results: Seems to work fine at first but as i work in a project and do some exports the screen becomes garbled. exiting the program and restarting doesn't seem to fix the problem but starting a new project seems to work fine again. It looks like i should try a new graphics card.
