We did some tests with a few Chicago DP's over the weekend. Footage is coming soon. but I thought I'd share some behind the scenes, in the meantime. You can find all our photos at http://www.facebook.com/DaufCam, But I thought I'd share a few here as well...

Definitely took advantage up of EPIC's 5K sensor to magnify a shot close to an effective 3000mm focal length.

Pete Biagi and I tested out Paul Bodi's custom motion control rail system (CamBlock) to replicate the same move under different Epic settings.

Fred Miller uses his monitor-helmet mask to view the epic footage (it was pretty bright up there.)

Pete Biagi mounts a lens baby on the front of the Epic.

I put all the rest of the photos on http://www.facebook.com/DaufCam

    Cheers,

    Lawrence

Hey guys, I wanted to share some HDR footage we shot over the last two weeks. After accomplishing HDR from a beamsplitter rig with two MXs at 100lbs to now using an Epic setup at 12lbs is absolutely incredible.

Thanks Lawrence for the HDRx demonstration. Pretty impressive. I do see what they are saying about the motion blur aspect. It'll be interesting to mix Magic Motion with the footage to see what kind of results we can get.
