    Hello everyone! As you know, Innocinema is the North and South American distributor for ActionProducts. We now have some actual pictures of the Riser and Audio-Riser Plates for the EPIC. We are also taking preorders on these products, as well as offering a 15% discount during our preorder period (lasts til the end of June). We estimate these products will ship at the beginning of July.

    ** The final product will be annodized black to match the Epic




    ActionProducts EPIC Audio-Riser Bottom Plate:

    -2 x 3.5mm jack plug to Pro XLR at rear
    -Audio wires ran through the inside of the plate, protecting them and keeping them out of the way
    -Acts as spacer to use industry standard base plates and matte boxes
    -Accepts 15mm light weight rod assembly (ActionProducts and other)
    -Tape measure hook on left and right for focal plane measurement
    -Swiss made with Aircraft 7075 grade aluminum

    This looks great, but why on earth on this fantastic industry leading camera does it have 3.5 jacks in the first place.........

    I can understand why they did it, some ops are looking for super light weight rigs. I just don't see 3.5mm being an industry standard any time soon, which is the main reason for this product

    Mini jacks for audio in stripped down rigs is a great option, using the Pro I/O module when it ships will be more industry standard and presumably more bulletproof. In the meantime...

    Just curious if 15mm Studio offset is on the roadmap, in SoCal it's the standard ( I blame Denny Clairmont ;-)

    Design looks good, I'll be waiting by my mailbox for my free samples ;-)
