Im looking to buy an adaptable base plate system to cover a multitude of shooting styles.
I am looking for a system i can swap out between sticks, Mantis hand held and Steadicam preferably with quick release or slide out using ARRI dove plates. I'm looking at ET hybrid ,http://www.elementtechnica.com/products/view.php?p=64

Im wondering what else might be out there and what Im going to need to cover all my bases... Any suggestions ? The RED quick release system looks great but it would involve me having to get the RED one adapter plate adding an additional cost which i'm wanting to avoid as the need for RED ONE will only be short term..... ( he says crossing his fingers rolling his eyes whilst whistling.... patiently)
RED ONE Camera and Epic due.
My current sticks = Miller solo with arrow 55 head.
