    Hi everybody,

To everyone using REDCINE - please upload your most recent logfiles here. The more data we have, the better. And those logfiles contain a lot of useful data.

Please put your facility name, or if you're not a facility your individual name in the TITLE line.

This sticky is not for discussion - just for uploads. :)

Thanks, and thanks to Jarred for creating this!!

That one I just managed to get under the 10k char limit by removing some whitespace and the header and footer lines. Others are too long (400+ extra chars) to cut down without loosing info - sorry...

At the bottom of any REDUSER post, there is a "Manage Attachments" button. Click on that, and you can now upload logfiles. Please do that instead of pasting in logfiles - that will get messy fast.

    Thanks!!!

I was getting the "first frame only" problem on this output. This is from a while back... since then I have reinstalled latest software and have had moderate success on some renders. Hope this helps.

This clip gets about half way processed and suddenly pick up speed and finishes. the resulting playback stops about half way through the clip.

I don't know what I am doing wrong.... The render from this clip ends up giving me a single frame of a totally different source clip. Arrghh !
I think I'll go ride my mountain bike.

  10. #10 No crash- works correctly (but slow)
I tried Redcine on my antiquated P4 with a NVidia 6200 AGP 8x card and it does work. Just VERY slowly. Enclosed is a log for a session exporting three DPX frames from a 2k project. The files exported OK and look fine.

Even considering my low-end hardware, I wonder if something is not working quite right. Every mouse click or keypad entry takes a minimum of 1 to 2 seconds to register on the screen. It doesn't seem like popping up a menu, or changing a button from "normal" to "highlight", or drawing a single character per keypress in a filename entry box, should take that many million instructions to complete. No other program I have used on any computer (I started with an Apple II) has ever had an interface response that slow. Well, ok, except for a remote X windows session over VHF packet radio.
