    Hi, Please help...

I just got my new RED and having problems importing footage on my MAC 10.4.11 MACbook 2.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of RAM, ATI XRadeon X1600, Quicktime 7.3.1, Final Cut Studio 2 and many other applications.

Downloaded the latest applications of RedCINE and it crashes! Redcine goes black and comes back to window saying application has ended unexpectatly.

My MAC is Intel so i don't understand what i'm doing wrong. Plus tried deleting the folder /library/redcine and re-creating it and still the same.

Here is the report for REDCine, now i recorded 4k and 2k 2:2:1 compression and it worked on REDalert, strange why REDCine doesn't open at all.

I have a password protection for any installation of files in my mac, would that be a conflict? i don't know how you take it off completely, even with no password the window pops up.
There is other users around this forum with exacly the same setup and it works fine for them with their macbook....
    Any suggestions?

After loading a large group of shots, say 14, the system redcine crashes within minutes - seemingly regardless of what I'm doing - playing, dragging, rendering. Greg@SecretHQ.com (Previous test projects used less shots)

  7. #47 Crash on load. Help?
    I'm running a 17" iMac dual 1.83 Intel Core Duo, 1.5 GB, Radeon X1600.

RedCine crashes a few seconds after loading (my whole screen goes black, then comes back with a crash notice).

    RedAlert runs fine.

Yes. Also tried restarting and starting RedCine first after boot. I also tried going into the Activity Monitor and shutting down unnecessary processes.

This is a first-generation Intel iMac. Do I need a new computer?

I've had Redcine on WinXP crash twice while trying to scrub clips in Full res preview. Attaching 2 x logs, not sure which is appropriate one..., possibly REDCINE.1.log (its beer o'clock here..) :turned:

Also, tried to render a PAL size QT (720x576) in SOrensen Video 3, and it "Failed to write". Switched to Motion JPEG A and it started running OK. Wrote out quite a few other formats including Sorenson Video, no problem. Switched back to Sorensen Video 3, again no luck. Any info on these should be in REDCINE.log attached
    cheers
