  #1 RED FOCUS ships tomorrow....
Finally :) The perfect tool for onset/offset adjustment of backfocus on the R1 or Epic.

    $1900 , $1500 if you own a RPP set.

Should be up in the store mid day.

Wow! This is a nice surprise, glad to see this is out!

I seem to recall from an NAB a few years back that it was said that on the Red1 there was no interaction, but the Epic would automatically calibrate itself using this, and thus the purpose to get this over other, similar products. Is this still the case? Does the Epic interact with this differently?

no automatic calibration going on.. you put it on, and turn the BF screw on Epic or rotate the color on R1 till the target on the screen is in focus.. all done.

There is a piece of software that was going to be made that never made it past prototype that would of helped automate the whole thing so you knew for sure what perfect was.. but it didn't end being worth the extra work.

Will it be more accurate after shipping to Australia than the Denz FDC, which seems to arrive out of cal regardless of how sensitive the handling is?
