Are we realy talking with the 'real' CEO of the RED company ?

I had an interesting conversation/discussion last nigth with some friends about the new RED cameras and this wonderful forum.
I mentioned that the CEO, Jim Jannard, and other important people from RED are always open for discussion and providing us with the latest information.
They all looked at me if I was from another planet. No way they said. Do you realy think the CEO is talking to you directly ? It's just someone else doing his job on the forum. A man in the middle...

I don 't wish to talk for Jim but it is evident from the years spent on this forum that Jim is not just the CEO of a company, he is first and foremost a shooter. Like any other dedicated shooter, is always yearning for the best tool for the job. I think considering Jim's knowledge of cameras, pactical experience of shooting and ownership of an arsenal of image capturing devices, being referred to as a CEO of a company in itself doesn't really present an accurate picture of Jim.

Besides Jim has made some fairly 'emotional' posts in the past and if it was a middleman posting for Jim we may be on the fifth generation Jim stand in by now....Red Six standing by...or should it be nexus six.

I am not sure however how many other members of the RED Team are personal shooters too...

This is why I love Red, because they aren't like other companies who are slaves to "how stuff is done and has been done before".
There is no "truth", they do what they want and some people doesn't seem to handle it.
