Original EVF works well on EPIC-M with firmware 1.6.20. Considering many EPIC-M owners like me still don't have their BOMB EVF's and considering when EPIC-X Stage 2's ship, there will likely still be a backlog, I wouldn't be surprised if Original EVF's hold their value about $2,200 for some time to come. Unless of course RED has about 3,000 BOMB EVF's coming in soon. Also, some have said they actually prefer the Original EVF, I haven't tested both side by side so I can't comment on that aspect but wouldn't be surprised. The Original EVF is a work of art.

The original EVF is a great product. Numerous posts suggest it actually has some advantages over the new one. There were quite a few sold for $2500 recently and it holds it's value very well. We actually decided to hold on to our old EVF for now :-)

Dont make the same mistake I did and sell off your EVF only to find that it will take quite a while to get your Bomb. That said I did get a pretty good price for mine a few months ago and had plenty of offers.
