Looks great Ross, much more manageable in the water than I would have originally thought. Do you have both monitors in the housing side by side?

We are using the Transvideo 12" anaglyph monitor and Deep Atom is extremely manageable in the water. We actually tried to create internal reflection in the training pool but I could not notice any using both top light source from the sun and artificial light sources on and round the bottom of th pool....no reflection. This is one extraordinary machine!
How do you find the anaglyph monitor in deep/blue water with blue channel being much stronger than red? Particularily for the background subject? Are you able to isolate Right and Left images with Red and Blue? Or, do you use other separation channels?
I was considering the 9" anaglyph Marshal monitor, but decided on the auto-stereoscopic (glasses free) MARSHALL OR-70-3D Orchid 3D because of the above concerns.
The marshal is better because of the "Difference mode" but the transvideo is superbright at 1300nits. I'd rather side with the brightness. All I need to do is judge my parallax values and the anaglyph mode works well enough for that.
The spin on brass weights seam like the best idea I have seen for trimming these rigs! very cool!
Oh the brass spin weights makes life easy you can trim in seconds.
John:
It's not easy to impress another housing manufacturer, but I have an idea of what it took to produce and that is one beautiful rig.
Ross:
It looks like you have one of the first , if not THE first, practical, fully capable, U/W 3D rigs. I have been toying with some low rent 3D U/W rigs for a couple years, so I Look forward to seeing some great things from your rig.
Thanks Michael it's been an interesting journey I can't wait to get this puppy in the ocean on the Great barrier reef.
Ross,
As the little guy looking up on a formidable mountain of achievement, please let me extend my congrats to you. John E has produced a magic piece of equipment, now it's up to you to run amok with it, show us all what is possible. Could not think of a better venue, Port Douglas, and all the Great Barrier Reef out there, words fail me. Green with envy.
Looking forward to your stuff mate, all the best.
Tom
Congrats Ross, very happy for you!!
Of course HUGE congrats to John and every one @ GATES... ;)

Love to see you in your element soon with this Ross, amongst our friendly fishes... ;)
