How download footage from RED DRIVE to Computer

Could you tell me please what i need to do to download footage from RED ONE (RED DRIVE or CF module) to Computer and How Can I edit it in Cimputer?

Just connect camera to Computer (via USB or HDMI) download REDCINE from this site and then download video from RED ONE and edit it in REDCINE?

it is possible to review and color correct footage in redcine-x, but it is not designed to be an editing software, though it is technically possible to use. do you have any other editors like adobe premiere or after effects, final cut pro, avid, etc? I would recommend using one of those, in which case, see the forum sections on those particular workflows for more information. I would also recommend a decent card reader for CF cards. And look into the r3d data manager to better ensure good copies of footage. http://www.r3ddata.com/
