Am I doing something wrong? I just upgraded the Epic to 1.6.12 or whatever, and shot a few reels in Vegas. Right now, none of them will open in Premiere 5.5, but all of my older Epic footage will still open in it. The newer footage works just fine in RCX 454.

Any idea on what might be happening?

    Thanks!

The plugins each need to be put manually in the correct folders also. I'll send the link to the instructions in a minute.

Wow, no offense, but these directions are super complicated and time-consuming. I don't have 30 mins to spend right now doing all this crazy stuff to get that Epic importer working.

Any chance you guys could either include Epic support in CS5.5 natively, or make an auto installer? My brain just melted when I read through these 29-step instructions!

Tom, it took me 2 minutes to copy and paste 6 files to 6 folders and have the best r3d support available. I am sure you can do it too!

Open the pdf files under documentation on this page for the detail on where to install the plugins.

Tom, do you have a RED ROCKET? If so, be sure you're running the latest 1.4.10 firmware! The ROCKET won't process 2K and some other EPIC modes shot with the latest firmware. Move to EPIC firmware 1.6.20, RCX v470.

I doubt it's your Adobe plugin as I don't think it's been updated lately, still the one from back in May... But you may want to check in case you're still running the earlier beta from March.
