Congrats man! I mean...mate :P Nice setup you have there.
good on ye!
Your chiro bills should be less with that tiny camera hanging on the end of the steadicam...
nice setup Adam ... bravo !
Thanks guys.. And if anyone needs advice on rigging the EPIC for a steadicam just let me know as it is a little tricky and the camera needs to be pimped up a bit as it is really light.
Also note how I am only using on battery on the bottom of the sled and not two as with two batteries the rig it too bottom heavy!
And if any one is wondering.... The two antennas on the top of the rig are a set of stereo lectrosonic audio receivers, and at the bottom of my rig I have an IDX Cam wave HD sender which I am waiting for Deanan and the boys to release 720p as this will only work in 1080i or PSF and the EPIC is P only.
Deanan was very helpful in helping me get my outboard gear like my decimator2 working, and my other monitors.
Hey Adam will you be at the Master course in 2 weeks in Sydney (Steadicam Week long master classes)?
I have been rebuilding my Steadicam for Epic - interested to compare notes
Mike
Yep I will be there will bells on!
I am really looking forward to my training/ holiday as it is a good escape from my business and 4 kids.
Cheers, Mate!
Congratulations Adam,
Nice rig. I'm another Epic M bloke in Sydney and thinking of something like this too, being an ex Steadicam operator. Which lightweight model Steadicam do you think best suits the Epic in lightest weight configuration? Would love to catch up with you if you're visiting the SMPTE exhibition or whatever. What an awesome combination!
