Do you have something up your sleeves that precludes the use of traditional lens/light controls? In Red's eyes are the days of big 19mm rigs numbered? Or are you moving your accessories line to more closely match the majority of Epic owners (in the next year or so) that use Canon glass and focus by wire, with clip on matteboxes?

Just trying to read the writing on the wall.

I don't see it - all that stuff exists already - in fact, most RED ONE owners have already purchased that stuff - all you need is the riser/quick release, and just keep shooting the old fashioned way -

They're not pushing out old stuff - they're adding new, amazing stuff -

On my feature film shoot, I used all my old RED ONE stuff and even recycled a Bogen quick release system to substitute for the Riser.

All of my crappy old Bogen gear is getting a makeover with the EPIC because, what wasn't beefy enough for the RED ONE, works great with the EPIC.

The writing on the wall is: modularity makes old things new, and opens up all kinds of space to innovate.

This shit is so exciting.

Does the wedge route power through the standard module adapters so the pro i/o or battery module can be stacked on it to keep the weight back and avoid the use of V-lock batteries?

I'm guessing that the answer is 'No', but thought I'd ask it anyway.

Such a Wedge should be made, as the shown config will be very frontheavy with a 4pound lens, a clip-on mattebox with 3 glassfilters and an FF4!
Maybe even one that does not angle up.
