Hello, while doing tests, it didn't happened, or I didn't noticed it, but today while shooting, whenever I select HDRx and use it, when you start or stop recording(press the record button) it changes tracks, it can go from the A to the X track or the other way around! I mean the image you are viewing in the Monitor, it loses or gains the number of F stops you chose in the HDRx tab.

Is this normal? Or is it an option? How can I disable it?

    Thanks in advanced.

PS: I have a 5:00 am shooting call, and have no network or signal at the location, but I'll try to respond to any replies as soon as posible.

Apparently other Epics are not showing the X track while recording, I don't know why mine does.

Anyone has a clue on how can I disable that?

    Thanks in advanced.

    Try reinstalling the firmware.

i have seen the x-track briefly when I hit recoed, but have not monitored it.

Strongly suggest you reinstall firmware or at least check that the recordings are good before proceeding.

    Cheers!

Thanks! The DIT guy preffers not to do it, we are in the middle of nowhere.

It might have to do with the power\start button.

Did you try reset to factory default?

i had this too at the weekend. twice.
i disabled hdr, switched it on again and changed the stops and the shutter.
in the other case a restart of the camera helped.

seems to be a bug. the other bug repeating is the 1:1 magnify in 2K modus, here i had some splitscreens in the monitor that forced me to restart the camera.

Thanks everyone! The DIT is very reluctant to reset the camera to factory or change the firmware...
So right now I'm coping with it at the moment. And have to turn off and on HDRx every take.

Yeah, it seems to be a bug.

    OK.
    Sorry, but...
Fire the DIT if he does not know what he does.
Have you checked the images in post?

Thanks, I can't afford to fire him right now, we are 18 hours away from Mexico city, at the Guatemalan border, practically in the middle of nowhere on a 7 day shoot.
Yeah, we have review the footage on Redcine X and it looks great. I just freaked out the first day, not knowing what was going on.

    Thanks again.
