I'm not in front of the Mac Resolve software so maybe these exist, I'm just reading through the released Shortcuts Guide and didn't see these-
Are there currently or will there be keyboard shortcuts for the following commands?

    Previous Node
    Next Node
    Disable Current Node
    All/Current/PTZR
    Lift Mark

Nearly all of those things are mapped on all of the supported panels that have enough keys (DaVinci panels, Avid MC Color, and Tangent Wave) but there are no current keyboard shortcuts for them. You'll have to reach for the mouse on those things.

I'm out on location but I believe that "Disable Current Node" is <Control><D> or <Command><D> maybe.

Here are a few shortcuts off the top of my head, some of these are undocumented so far as I can see.

Many, if not all, the buttons on the Resolve Panel are essentially "just" a USB keyboard device, you whack a button and a keystroke is sent to OS X. As a result, you have a lot of "hidden" keyboard controls. I'm quite sure I haven't discovered them all.

(That only goes for the buttons mind you ... the rings, trackballs, knobs and pots are other USB device types, and generate different types of data.)

(CMD aka command or the "apple key"
    CMD+W = Toggle Wipe
    CMD+A = Auto Color
    CMD+Right arrow = next scene/edit
    CMD+left arrow = previous scene/edit
    CMD+J=Join Clip
    CMD+L = Toggle looping

    CTRL+D = disable current node
    CTRL+H = Highlight B&W

    SHIFT+D = Delete current node
    SHIFT+A = Add node
    SHIFT+J = split clip
    SHIFT+H = Highlight Color
    SHIFT+right arrow=next keyframe
    SHIFT+left arrow=previous keyframe

up arrow = disable all nodes
down arrow = enable all nodes

    Hi,

This spring I designed a Mac Resolve shortcut keyboard for the great folks at Logic Keyboards. Check it out http://www.logickeyboard.com/shop/ad...ple-2020p.html If you ask them they may make a skin for the MacBook Pro. It sped up understanding the software for me. I also did their Color keyboard the year before.

Note: I don't work for LogicKeyboard just have ideas

    cheers

You could always get Quickeys and map out your own shortcuts based on that. I've done this with lots of Mac-based programs (particularly Pro Tools), and it's been a lifesaver at reducing the time on doing repetitive tasks.

Remapping is actually what I'm doing, but without knowing the existing shortcuts for those last 5 commands I'm not sure how to map them-
They may be accessible via the MC Color, but I'm not looking forward to cycling through pages of soft key menus just to get to something like Lift Mark.

Except for Disable Current Node, I don't believe there are any key bindings for the other commands, particularly the ones to navigate the node tree. Those are only exposed via panel bindings. If you don't have a panel, you need to use the mouse for those things. If there are some secret key combinations that someone from Blackmagic can bring to light, I for one would be curious as to what they are...

While I have a thread open let me ask:
Please bring back panel/scene beeps! Even if it's just the Mac internal speaker or something. Helps greatly when watching through a timeline to verify the EDL.

Also, some way to type in/cue to a timecode or scene number would be great. What's the use of having Preview Memory as a shortcut if you can't type in a scene number to preview?
I know some panels may have the timecode ability (the JL Cooper Eclipse I think?) but I have an Artist Color in the mail and I don't think that'll help.
