I had a chance to beta test these on a short film and I loved being able to dim the lights, roll between tungsten or daylight, and all of that on batteries for 4 hours. We could move lights with no cables.

I tell you, this is the way to go. And they are made by an cinematographer/gaffer too!

These are examples of lights that will be banned from importation if Litepanels wins its 337 case.

I'm not affiliated with the company, so I have no idea on exact pricing. I just know they are substantially cheaper than Litepanels comparable units (as that's what he said).

Too bad they are made in the U.S.A. so that may not be an issue.

I haven't the slightest idea. I just worked on the videos and as I said, I am not affiliated with the company.

I have worked with Greg Sabo, the inventor, for several years, but I am not affiliated with or employed by Zabolights (or any of Greg's companies, Sabostudios, Backyard HD, etc.).

I am genuinely excited by these lights because in 11 years, I never met a DP or gaffer who made his own lights. He DP'd and lit a short film for me for free, using exclusively his new LED lights, so my payback is to spread the word, which he never asked me for but I voluntarily and happily did. I am not a shill for anyone unless I believe in the product thoroughly. I put these lights through the rigors and fell in love with the speed at which we could change setups and move around.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I posted the same thing in well over 20 forums for filmmakers about these lights.

So that fishy smell must be something else. What did you eat for lunch today?

FYI - to see ZABOLIGHTS, watch THE GOLF CHANNEL special 1-hour #Feherty Tuesday at 9PM ET with Open Champion Darren Clarke.

I posted in forums where I am an active member in the communities for film and video. I am sorry that you do not find it genuine, but you are entitled to your opinion.

I didn't remember anyone saying Litepanels weren't the innovators of LED lighting. These ZABOLIGHT lights are a very high quality LED and I believe the pricing will be substantially cheaper, but I won't know until I see a price list.
