My friends Tom G and Eric Kessler put together this video of our recent Timefest meetup in July. If you like behind-the-scenes documentaries about filmmaking, you might enjoy this. Forum members Drew Walker and Vincent Laforet also attended Timefest.

Those formations are sick - what is that stuff? it doesn't seem like rock. How'd it get there?

And what is the name of the iPad app that is the Milky Way locater? I could use one of those for my trip to Telluride next month....

Thanks for posting this - the gear is amazing.

That computerized focus control will make the work on my next project a dream. Begins next spring and I'm crossing my fingers. That would be so great if they can get some of that gear to work from an iPad or Iphone.

I can't wait for the next one of these little meet ups. It's always great to meet up with some fellow timelapse shooters. Not to mention meeting new people in the timelapse and camera world. It was awesome meeting face to face with people I had only talked to on the phone or through email. The house that we were all staying at in Mammoth Lakes was amazing and the perfect place to meet up. Big thanks to Shawn Reeder for the house.

Thanks Tom for inviting me to this event. It was a really big help in getting to meet some big names in our industry. Plus I also picked up a sponsorship from Kessler Cranes, which is awesome. Again, thanks Tom.

That was fabulous! Really enjoyed watching, just as much for the creative camaraderie and artistry as the toys!

Drew, I'm with you... I'm already looking forward to next year's meetup! I think we're gonna go big next year with a houseboat at Lake Powell.

I'm stoked that you got sponsored!
