I don't typically post without something specific to and absorb what Rob said in his post. It's inarguable, accurate and you'll regret anything else you do in comparison. Interesting thing is...I'm a Nikon shooter....(but I use the 85 1.2L on my Epic).

Is the programmable focus pull functionality enabled at this stage? (set point A & point B, set pull duration, push hotkey to execute focus pull). I remember a video RED posted quite some time ago showing it in action.

Sorry if this has been answered already - I made it through 60 pages of this thread and thought it would be quicker just to ask :)

Will the autofocus work with the Tokina 11-16 on scarlet/epic?

Did a quick test: yes, it works!

My Red is called Vertov after a Russian avantgarde filmmaker, a pioneer in modern cinematography, a true revolutionary who later suffered under Stalin's bureaucracy.

Ditto on this question. I'm waiting on the Red Nikon mount as my main mount but would like to have a Canon as well but don't want to pay the $1500 premium for titanium which I feel is unnecessary with SLR lenses anyway. Would happily order the $500 Canon mount today if we could. Seems like manufacturing is kicking ass and should be caught up or will be soon on AL mounts for the Scarlets and could make some for some of us lowly Epic owners :-)

For underwater I would think twice with alluminium.
    AL Expansion coefficient 22.2
    TI Expansion coefficient 8.6

You take camera from hot deck to cold water, I don't know what will happen with the back focus?
