I traded all of my F4 zoom L lenses for the 28-300mm. I will post some clips later on my Facebook account.

I got this lens but found out the iris does not stay on Epic when you use the zoom. I tried the lens at the store with a Canon body, when I set the iris to the F5.6 then by working the focal length to 300mm to 28mm, the iris stayed constant at F5.6. Do the same with the Epic, the F-stop moves while moving the zoom. Would RED be able to work the iris the same way as Canon in the future?

Can I request that the Sigms 18-50 lens be supported soon? I would love to use this for my literal walk around / stedicam lens but right now I can't control the Iris. Thanks!

    Hi,
the autofocus don't work with the firmware 3.3.4 and the poor Canon 50 mm f 1.8, (but it's OK with the "old" firmware 3.3.3).
...so, the scarlet-x crash when I press the AF button... :-(

You'll agree... ;)

The 24-70 is not just about what it gives as far as focal, but the particular look it gives, a unique lens on its own.
The 24-70 is a great versatile lens. If I was forced to choose only one lens to be stuck with for the rest of my life that would probably be it.

Wait till you test the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II and then you'll reinforced your statement... ;)

    Completely agree.

The last film I shot, was 90% on that lens.

Hey guys we just got the titanium mount, i'm sure this has been answered, but do you need lens support with this 70-200? It feels rock solid, I don't notice any bowing or anything. I've heard that you do with the Aluminum one.
