Any updates on the After Effects plugin? I'll get it as soon as it's available.
Updates would be appreciated.
Hello Miltos,
Thanks for the query on our progress - every day sees our fine codeMonkeys getting closer to a stable and happy releasable product. We're currently putting the finishing touches on the stand alone Mac application, as well as pushing the additional filmstocks through our QC process (in fact, my overburdened macBook is whirring happily away on this process as I type), with the hope for a barring-no-horrible-accidents soft release sometime early next week. Very exciting stuff for us indeed.
With the stuff that we'll be releasing, will be our very first plugin, which is of course, the oft-talked about after effects tool of our film and grain tech for both the mac and windows.
And of cource, once that's out, we're storming off to add as many plugins as we can - OFX is definitely on the list, as is PPro, of course. With any luck, it won't take too much effort to bend the mighty afterEffects plugin tech we've built to work with these systems as well.
Once again, thanks for all your interest and support.
First, Happy 4th of July guys!
Second - let us know if you have any updates.
Thanks!
Hi Everyone,
After a lot of work, we've just released a new version with some significant changes!
- Support for Canon DSLRs and other quicktime files
- Real time playback for quicktime
- A 3 way color corrector
- Many new stocks, including black and white, transparency, stills, and polaroid
- Render speed improvements, GPU enhanced. up to 30fps renders for quicktime on some machines
and a lot of other stuff. It's available here:
http://filmconvert.com
Please let us know what you think, and also if you have any issues.
No red rocket support ?
thanks
g
If I buy the only option that's on sale currently ("FilmConvert Pro") will that include both the AE plugin and the standalone or just the standalone?
This version really rocks... Thanks guy; great job! However, it says that my license that I have since August, 2011 is not valid for this product, and the rendering has the "FilmConvert" watermark.
Would love this as a post-process for Nuke. Here is my ideal workflow:
R3D -> Nuke (Linear) -> COMP -> FilmConvert (Somehow feed in White balance from Read node?) -> LOG -> Grade -> Output.
I would love to be able to add VFX to the red footage and then have FilmConvert add the grain and color LUT at the end.
