Oh, that is a different story, away and with no footage to upload on hand to test it...

now I have deleted all versions of Redcine X Pro and down loaded the latest version again. I also deleted any saved RC files. After doing that I go to open a file and the licence agreement window for version 2 pops up and I can't get rid of it unless I reboot computer.
Thank you for the free goodies Red team!
Hi Grant
Thanks for your help.....now I have now for the second time deleted all versions of Redcine X Pro and down loaded the latest version again. I also deleted any saved RedCine project files. After installing I drag the REDCINE X PRO.app into the applications folder. Then I open the program and if I click on file at the top of the screen immediately the licence agreement window for version 2 pops up and I can't get rid of it unless I reboot computer. Now even when REDCINE X PRO is closed every time I try to open a file through file menu the licence agreement for version 2 pops up and it won't let me do anything on the computer. I cant even attach the screen shot!!
Thanks
Ross
Setting a preset for "Frame Crop" is screwy... at Center Crop, the crop shifts to the left when preset is applied. (at least for me this is happening)
Hello
I downloaded this version. Installation went smooth, opens great. But when I import a FCP XML file. There are 3 choices where to import the footage: 1) Sequence. 2) Active Bin. 3) Export.
I select Active Bin. I hit OK. But it only imports them into a sequence. I don't see the footage in a Bin. I am doing something wrong. I looked everywhere and I can't find the any BIN.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Best
Ricardo,
The behavior in RCX Pro for Import XML is slightly different than in previous versions. RCX Pro will treat XML sequences as sequences, and bins as bins. ie., you are importing an xml that contains a sequence, and RCX Pro is putting that sequence into your project. Really there is no difference between Active Bin and Timeline when importing an XML. This distinction is more useful when importing an EDL or ALE file.

I have had some weird things happen while cropping as well. I had to manually input the pixels to get a 16:9 from a 2.4:1 2k from Epic. Usually I can just do center crop and lock aspect ratio, but it wouldn't work for me.
