Quick education for those out there from a military guy here. The NATO Standard is different from the M1913 standard or picatinny in the way it clamps to the rail. The NATO clamps from the flat portion on top and the underside of the angles. The M1913 clamps from the sides of the rail. This thread took a turn....:-)

Did you guys ever develop the side arms that dont bolt to the bottom for those who use REDs quick release system?

I would love to know if the Red Ribs line up with Brook's FMJ Top plate.

If they did, you could mix and match in some configurations. (Ex: FMJ Top Plate / Red Ribs / Red QR System)

Where is Ketch's equipment manager when you need him?

Also, does the Brain fit in the RED EPIC pelican case with the FMJ setup...sorry if this has been answered already. I imagine it will squeeze in there.

They're still on the "to do" list, but there are so many other items on there as well... :)

You could probably force it in there... but it wouldn't be pretty.

THanks for the quick reply Brook...Could I use your FMJ top plate with RED side arms so that I could still take advantage of REDs quick plate?

I have not tested it with RED's sidearms.
