Brook, do you plan to make a separate Scarlet version of the FMJ Top without ribs?

+1 for someone to try the Red tactical ribs with a FMJ top plate & report back.

Trying to decide what gear to buy without getting locked into a "system" is brutal.

Does anyone know if you can use the Full Metal Jacket Bottom Plate + Full Metal Jacket 15mm Light Weight Standard Bracket with the RED EPIC Tactical Ribcage Pack?
From the pictures online it appears you can but I want to make sure.

Since RED's version of the cage attaches to the side of the body [instead of the bottom plate], there should be no clearance issues.

    Hey folks,

Based on requests from rental houses in Los Angeles, we've made the FMJ for Arri baseplates as well! Pending interest we'll put it up in the store. :)

The bottom plate is slightly thinner, allowing the use of an Arri baseplate [taller than a RED baseplate] while maintaining proper spacing between the iris rods and lens. Several rental houses and individuals had wanted to use Arri BP-9 sliding baseplates [from the 435 and 235] with our full cage.
