Did you try other connections such as eSata or USB? Change your FW800 cable and try again. If you still have that problem then contact RED support.

I've had that problem even powered with eSATA.... still haven't found what will make it work 100%. The last time I just switched to FW800 and it mounted...

Try USB and also try rebooting and zapping the pram. In some cases with the fw800 port gets overloaded it shuts off.
    Zapping pram should reset it.

Also check the power switch on the back.

It's best to call support and file a ticket if it's not working with any of the ports.

Heard an easy solution by DIT Marcelo Scoppa (Arg.):
Mount the mag again in camera and record a new clip. This seems to recompose the data needed to be recogniced by the computer...I will give it a try next time...
    Best regards

    Barry,

I have had that problem on 3 separate shoots when filming onto the SSDs from the EPIC, what worked for me was if it wasn't reading in my Mac putting it into my PC and then it would read in both, or vice versa if the PC wasn't reading the drive.
