  #1 TEAM RED....

There are 360,000 employees at Panasonic, 170,000 at Sony and 140,000 in the Japanese Army.

There are only 400 employees at RED.

The goal in 2005 was to build the best camera in the world.

    In 2011, we succeeded.

EPIC was conceived, designed, prototyped, and manufactured in California. Not Germany. Not Japan. Not China.

It is the 1st time that the best camera in the world has been made in the USA in over 100 years. By a team of 400. Not 100's of thousands.

We are very proud to be shooting the biggest budget movies this year.. as well as the smallest.

    Just a few...

    Spiderman 4
    The Hobbit
    Prometheus
    Contagion
    The Muppet Movie
    Oz
    Elysium
    Jack the Giant Killer
    Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
    The Great Gatsby
    Underworld 4
    I hate you, Dad.

Then add the best fashion photographers in the world shooting covers for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, W, Interview, Esquire, Vanity Fair... and a ton of others.

The best movies and the best stills... same camera. Never done before in the history of cameras.

The RED team is complete. We don't have a few of the best horses in our stable..... we have all the best.

We have the best product, and by far the best customers.

We are not a scam. We are not "beta". We are here. Now.

We challenge the industry to respond.

    Please.

    That shot is inspiring!

    What a great group!

    Thanks for posting this shot.

400 lions can do a lot. You dont need tens of thousands.

Congratulations to each person in that shot and every reduser around the world!
