    Hi
I am working on PC core i 7 8 GB RAM windows7 ultimate. Until I installed RCX prof. I really had no problems. Now when I activate the Red Rocket everything doesn`t work correctly ,also the export fails.
Then I deinstalled RCX 3 prof and tried to use RCX 487, I was not able to drag a clip into the viewer. When I deactivated the Rocket it will work. I am using the Driver for the Rocket: 1.4.10.0 an the firmware: 1.1.14.40
    Maybe somebody can help ?

    Thanks

    Andreas

    Andreas,
There is a newer release driver for the red rocket (version 1.4.15): https://www.red.com/support/all/downloads
Not sure if that will solve your problem, but it won't hurt to try. There is also a new release version of RCX 501. Try updating the driver before you try updating RCX versions.
I will try to duplicate this issue.

Thanks Armen, but I used Redcine-X PRO Build 3 Beta 64 bit. I tried to update my Driver ( RED ROCKET Installer 1.4.16 ) and then the Firmware, but my Rocket firmware upgrade said:

Error: SV-Error-Driver-Memoryinit, On card memory init failed.

I did it for several times, and so I went back to older RCX and Rocket Installers but nothing helped.

    Andreas,
You have the beta driver version installed, not that its a bad thing, but lets first trying installing the release driver (v.1.4.15) and firmware (v1.1.15.4).
At the top of the support downloads page, select the "release" to download the release rocket driver version. You may have the beta option selected.
If you Let me know if that fixes anything.

did you do a shutdown and restart after installation of the firmware as well?? forgot to mention, when you perform shutdown after firmware upgrade, remember to pull pc power cord to allow rocket to completely power cycle itself. give that a try and let me know what happens
