Shot 2k highspeed and when trying to view or unpack the footage using out redrocket raid and my macbook pro 17" the pictures turned out black. when "switching off" the rocket in REDCINE-X the files rendered as normal and where also viewable. Is this a known bug?
We shot 200fps 2K as I recall it. or if it was 300fps if the frame rate has something to do with it.
The short of it all was that we had to sit and wait for the stuff to render not using th rocket... made us once again realize how fast that card really is...

To clarify, we also get an "error decoding frame" error in the export details. Turning off the Rocket in the viewer and it works fine, but slow.

Make sure you have the latest Rocket drivers ***AND FIRMWARE*** installed, otherwise 2K EPIC footage won't work on the Rocket.

    That's probably what it is.

Make sure you're using the current version of REDCINE-X as well. EPIC footage has been supported by the past couple releases, but you should be running the latest release (501). You can also give REDCINE-X PRO build 3 a run if you're feeling adventurous.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have the latest versions of everything (firmware 1.1.15.4, driver 1.4.16.0 and rcx 506). In the other hand, 5k material runs and transcodes without any issues.

UPDATE: Thought I had the same issue, but it turned out to be, as usual, O.E. I did not have the latest RR driver/firmware as I had thought. Now updated, everything is working as advertised.

Thanks Jeff for pointing out the obvious. Again.

I'm having this issue with 5K - it was actually working for me at the start of the day then stuttered, now just black when I try to load any clip.
