Also in many cameras, the audio coming out of the camera's SDI stream is offset (earlier) than the video stream. Sony F3 and Epic (but on previous build, each build needs to be tested to be sure) both do this, as well as many others. My testing with a now obsolete Build 3.0.0 was 80ms if audio is coming off SDI from camera (Epic) or 150ms if you feed audio directly to pix. also I set TC offset +1 so TC on pix and epic are frame accurate. good news is this can be saved as a setup file and loaded into pix when you use that camera, and everything will be exactly in sync. every new firmware suggests you should check whether everything is still valid.

The PIX has come so far since its release...lots of fantastic improvements to monitor viewing quality, feature set, etc. My biggest gripe is lack of thumbnails when perusing recorded clips, as searching by clip name is almost never what I'll remember about a given take. Perhaps this could be something in the works?

Does the drift apply if you are running audio via SDI? or just when you are running audio via xlr directly into the pix?

Its not drift it's offset. And yes if you read above there are different offsets depending where the audio is coming from. Most any camera is going to feed video later than audio that is fed directly via xlr into pix. If audio is early on sdi stream then that is a camera "flaw" but many cameras have it. Good news is it is easily correctable in pix, or if you prefer, in post.

It is easy to correct in the PIX. The Aja KiPro Mini shows a similar offset, but it doesn't offer such a correction (or I didn't find it yet).
