  1. #1 Construct,Versions & Trays only display Primary grades?
    Hi all,
Why doesn't scratch allow scaffold grading to show up on the construct, Versions or Trays?
For example, if I add a scaffold and apply any color changes to it, it will NOT show up in the construct. Only changes to the Primaries will show in the thumbnail on the construct. Why?

I am use to seeing a "storyboard" or groups of thumbnail with the final grading applied. It makes it easier to see the overall look of the scenes. Lustre, Divinci, Nucoda, etc all have it.

Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong?
    Also, I'm using Scratch 6
    Thanks,
    Lou

Itīs not a bug, itīs a feature. ;)
I think it was designed that way because less powerful GPUs would slow down the representation of the frames if it had to calculate scaffolds for each one.

You're not doing anything wrong. It is by design, to optimize the use of the gpu.
Thumbnails have a barcode: 1. primary grade; 2. secondary grade; 3. scaffolds; 4. framing.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

Wow, bummer. Well maybe in Scratch 7, they will create a page that contains a selective amounts of thumbnails with the final grade applied.
I mean, is it just me? You mean to tell me all scratch operators/owners are fine with NOT seeing their final grade next to another shot?
I understand that in Dual mode you can do side by sides but anyone coming from a Nucoda background or Lustre, they must really miss it.
    No?
    Oh well,
    Thanks guys,

Having the secondaries showing up in the thumbnails is not high priority afaik. Construct is designed for media management, versioning and conform. Most of the work is done in real time in the player.
So no need for crutches. :-)
