At the Redray launch, can you please let us know the min play and record for low end pc media chipset spec for different resolutions/framerates and bit rates, using all the Gpu processing possible?

I am looking at putting together a cheap player recorder audio visual system instead of buying a conventional BR, hdtv PVR, media store, because it canbe done cheaper and do more, including playing Redray and Redcode.

I am thinking of using AMD apu's, but even the highest end solution is relatively weak and I may have to go for Intel's dx11 chipset graphics upgrade, or AMD's trinity apu CPU upgrade next year.

I am also interested in playing Scarlet Redcode, and using Redray as a PVR codec and for my media library. These are the sort of things people like to do.

Any help on this for launch would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Thanks Stuart. As long as they are straight up we won't have to run around for ages trying to figure it out. Though I think I get your meaning.

I'm wondering about if there will be an ivy bridge update to Mac mini server soon, I could edit on that too if it has a high spec, and I add a second drive (there seems to room).
