DANGER 5 SHOT ON RED ONE MYSTERIUM-X
The upcoming SBS television series Danger 5, recently completed principal photography. The seven part series is a 1960’s inspired version of World War II. Shot locally, almost entirely in the main studio at the South Australian Film Corporation. The 9 week shoot saw the drought lifted on the lack of television production in the state.
The show was a huge undertaking for the young crew. Over 100 locations needed to be built in the studio, not to mention the hundreds of characters that needed to be cast. The filmmakers wanted to recreate a 1960’s cinematic sensibility. It would require a lot of tinkering in post so the natural choice was RED MX. Shooting RAW meant endless possibilities in post-production.
