What I like best about how the Product line has evolved is that the customer gets to determine both the top end of performance and the top end in price and from there down to the base level of performance there is no loss in capability. The scale of price/performance only increases and there are no capability gaps between the two platforms; Scarlet and Epic downstream. This is something the previous versions of Scarlet 2/3" could not handle. Its really a nice freebie that Red gives the new Scarlet owners. I always liked the idea of the Scarlet Fixed, but the two platforms were really different animals in some ways. In a sense, the Scarlet fixed was stillborn into a world rapidly moving beyond 2K. Any credible competitors must begin their thinking with the assumption that we already live in a 4K environment. Well done, Jim, Jarred and Red Team!
Dear RED Team im very very proud of you, again.
Feels like 4 years ago, when I got my first RED-One.
Great new line-up. Great price. Great package.
You bet Canon today by far. Now bring out the Redmote Pro too and you will sell an other 10 thousand scarlets in an minute.
I know Jarred, not Tim and his Redmote Pro again...
I'm like Toia and playback, hehehe.
No really, great day, congrats. Every swiss filmmaker I know is stoked right now. And I'm like, I told you so....
Cheers to all of you.
Tim
