It was mentioned somewhere that the brain goes to $9700. Today you get the brain, side SSD, and Canon mount for $9750.

If you want higher framerates, at 5k, then the product you want is EPIC. I would not buy Scarlet if you are assuming they will offer an upgrade to support higher framerates.

Can't seem to find the post in all the craziness (and excitement), but someone mentioned some dragon update. And please don't forget the words "obsolence obsolete" for another reference. The scarlet apparently resolves at 3.2k according to some users, but is that really true

Edit: if that's true, then when 4k is more main stream the scarlet going from 3.2k to 4k is like HD going to 2k

So I've purchased the 14k Canon AL pack already. There are a few accessories I'd like to buy also - so they'll be a separate purchase. Should I wait to be contact about my order before I add anything further to my purchase so they all come at the same time? Or too late for this?

Just place another order. We ship what is available when it is available - be it on one order or 10 separate ones.

I read through 70% of this thread (so long), was wondering if there was published information on how long a single redvolt would last on Scarlet?

    Consider me stoked.

Probably not very long (maybe 2 hours?). We bought red bricks, also the way our local rental handles epics. Our shoots are often 10 hours up with camera constantly on.
