Any clue about a delivery date if i were to order today? Will it make a big difference vs the people who ordered first yesterday?

Just order on December 30 and you'll probably not have to pay the full amount until Jan/February.

Thank you RED for the awesome event! I think my favorite line was from Jim explaining why Scarlet has no ribs, "women are smooth." I'd take a very candid experience like that over a $10M gala any day. I'm fairly new to Twitter but I wanna thank anyone who was following me (@TheDataSierra), especially those who gave me great questions to ask Jim and other members of the RED team.

I can't wait to see what you all start doing with this camera early next year!

We have a lot of deposits to charge, yes, BOMB SQUAD is going down the list - while also answering calls and emails. Website only authorizes the card, does not charge it. We do it. Don't worry, if your order is in, you will be charged. Though I admire the "you cannot take my money fast enough" mentality, hehe.

Secondly, as Jim mentioned in his FAQ's, we are slammed. Plain and simple. Some people around here have not slept since Wed night - or longer. When your order is ready for allocation, it will start order processing. If we need to contact you for any reason once order processing begins, we will. If not, we will process what is available, ship, and you will get tracking numbers :)

Calls of "Are we there yet? How about now? Now? Are we there yet?" (those with kids will get the analogy) are just soaking up precious bandwidth. We posted the earliest it will ship is Nov 17 - so we will get your gear to you as soon as we can after that date, I promise. We are (almost) as excited to ship it to you as you are to get it!
