I don't know what you mean with designed for Scarlet/Epic but Cinevate has gear rings for still lenses. I have only used their previous design but these look great too. Otherwise there is mostly zip gear type of things out there.
100% AGREED MIKE. Sitting next to you and John I was tweeting away furiously at every bit of info Jim threw out.
Given what was happening and what RED had to say Jim handled the room brilliantly, it was the best thing that could've happened that night...
Power from the people, a crowd-sourced event whether intended or not.

One week on, from the UK/Europe side of the pond it was a weird, surreal moment but fun. Got to bed 5.30 am
1 am on the dot 1 was there! tried reduser - down - red.com - down - no info. The info from canon was ok but that was all, I wasn't going there.
Hadn't waited 2.5 years for canon, they hadn't stolen the gold crown more like left a lead pipe.
Then tried scarlet user and Jarred was there getting the first trickles of info out, all the time trying to place an order. 2 hours flew by then by 3 am finally got into Red.com and placed my order.
As times passes it will dawn on people what a great deal Scarlet-X really is. I've ordered the A! package, in sterling its cheaper than Sony's PMW F3 which does not provide any media or even close to 4K.
People who complain! wake up or shut up really tried of hearing from you, RED has once again offered a rainbow and its there for the taking. Its like finding a gold cup in the ground, but some people pick it up look at it then say, hey this gold cup isn't my size l want a better gold cup for less! and throw it away. Their choice
Lets just look at all the great positive things about Scarlet and all its going to offer and talk about those things as there's so many.
About to become a RED full family member and proud to be.
Any one interest I shall still be keeping my FS100 its a great camera and has its place, but it hasn't RED's flare or vision.
Looking forward to that first clip shot on RED.
