    True, but I think getting the receipt for doing your taxes will depend a lot on the actual date of purchase and who knows when that will be.

    Can we expect the same speed as someone who is ordering from the US or do we have to wait a little bit more due to many reasons like products that have to be granted by customs
    shipping delay from RED US to RED Europe...etc ...
    I'm sure that it will be some delay just hope that it would not be too long

    FWIW many gold and platinum credit cards will double the warranty from 1 year to two, provided the full payment is made on that card. To anyone thinking of splitting between two or more cards, I'd suggest if feasible, sending an extra payment to the credit card company in advance, and then paying for Scarlet all with that card. My only concern would be that Scarlet-X may be too "pro" and somehow be excluded from the doubleing of the warranty offer, but I'm passing on this suggestion in case it benefits someone

    I'm 99.999% certain that your credit card does not extend warranties to professional equipment.

    Also I called and asked about "over paying" to have a negative balance my credit card but they said that wouldn't help.

    Hey Brent, for my particular situation (post #57 http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...l=1#post872266) I did not order a package, but there's a lot of stuff on my order, so should I call Red now? I don't have a Bomb Squad rep assigned to me yet, and I don't want to bother anyone there yet since I know you're all overwhelmed right now, but I also don't want to lose my place in line or be pushed back further than making a change now. Thanks for addressing our concerns here on the forums.

    If I order batteries and/or media will it ship out immediately or can I get it all at once to save on shipping?

    Or is the converse true. Should I get the batteries shipped by ground now and then I can save on overnight/2nd day air when the scarlet is ready?
