I may get somebody in trouble here, but just watched a 4K PRO RES demo on a 4k Projector and 4k OLED monitor...
Running smoothly through a (beta update) of FCP-X and some tricky video card... !!!

Because I was a bit sceptical, I made some files from my laptop from RCX from my own footage in REDLOGFILM and gave it to them.. and graded it also in this FCP-X... all in real time.
    one word WOW!!
The images were even better again than what they had showed me.

It's hard to blow me away now days... Ive seen many demo's... but I have to say, this little (secret) demo certainly opened my eyes. The images were so real and deep that it looked like i was looking at real life...

Even thought I have no interest in FCP X - (well had no interest) all of a sudden I see light at the end of the tunnel.

Im not allowed to tell you anymore than this.. I could get shot.

That's actually very interesting. Apple had pimped the 4K abilities of FCPX and this is the first I've heard of it living up to it's promise. I assume this is without any additional hardware support?

You took out the part that mentions the tricky video card.
